Checking is done by our own rule-based engine on our server. Your text is never sent to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or any other AI service, and is never used to train AI models.

Your file is held only in the server's working memory while it is being checked. It is never written to storage, a database, a backup or our logs.

Once your results are delivered, everything is wiped from memory within a few minutes. We keep no copy, and no one at Advances.in sees your document.
How your document is handled
- Your .docx travels to our server over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
- Our rule-based checker reads it in working memory. No AI, no third parties, and nothing is written to disk, a database or logs.
- You see your results. The citations and references extracted from your paper stay in memory only long enough to deliver them, then are wiped, within minutes at most.
- The optional DOI check runs in your browser and only if you start it. It sends individual reference entries (never your manuscript text) directly to Crossref, the official DOI registry.
